About the Role
As the Senior Mechanical Construction Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the construction of a state-of-the-art Power Plant. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing on-site engineering expertise to ensure construction activities align with design and project objectives
Coordinating with construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain efficient, safe, and high-quality project execution
Reviewing and monitoring construction schedules, progress, and resource allocation to support timely achievement of key milestones
Identifying and resolving technical and engineering issues, implementing effective and practical solutions
Collaborating closely with the design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless communication and technical accuracy
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for the Senior Mechanical Construction Engineer role will possess:
5+ years of experience in construction engineering for large-scale industrial or thermal power plant projects
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Strong understanding of gas turbine systems, steam generation, and combined cycle processes
Hands-on experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing technical interfaces between engineering and construction
Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, scheduling, and quality control for large industrial projects
Proven understanding of HSE standards and procedures, with experience implementing best practices on-site
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork
Business-level proficiency in the English language
