Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Scarborough
We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in gearboxes ( cases, gears, and mechanical systems) to join our client team. This role involves designing, improving, and developing mechanical components from concept to completion.
What you’ll do:
  * Design gearboxes, gears, and mechanical components
  * Create 3D models and drawings (SolidWorks)
  * Improve and modify existing designs
  * Produce BOMs and technical documentation
  * Carry out calculations and basic analysis
  * Work with teams to deliver projects
What we are looking for:
  * Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  * 5 year experience with gear systems or complex mechanical design
  * Strong SolidWorks skills
  * Practical, problem-solving approach
