Senior Mechanical Engineer | Sweden | €100K–€110K + Accommodation + Rotation + Travel + €1,000 Net Living Allowance
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join one of Europe’s leading data centre delivery partners, working on a major hyperscale project in Eskilstuna, Sweden. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the mechanical delivery on a high-value, technically complex project within a fast-growing and well-established organisation.
You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative international team delivering turnkey data centre solutions across design, construction, and commissioning phases.
The Role
* Lead the mechanical delivery for a major data centre project, ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with company standards and safety requirements.
* Manage project procurement, coordination, and technical documentation across multiple work packages.
* Review and coordinate design drawings, specifications, and submittals.
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and QA/QC documentation.
* Support commissioning activities and ensure systems meet design and performance criteria.
* Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting best practices across the team.
* Manage reporting, documentation, and project progress tracking to meet milestones and deadlines.
About You
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
* 5+ years’ experience in mechanical project delivery within a construction, data centre, or M&E contracting environment.
* Proven understanding of mechanical systems — HVAC, chilled water, CRAC/CRAH units, and pipework design.
* Strong coordination and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Experience working on large-scale international or industrial projects.
* Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and document control software.
* EU passport required (for site access and rotation eligibility).
