Our client is a provider of NHS Commissioned Mental Health Rehabilitation and recovery services their goal is to help individuals realise their potential and transition into the least restrictive setting possible.
Position Overview: They are looking for a dynamic Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with people who have severe and enduring mental health diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering a range of Occupational therapy assessments and interventions promoting recovering and well being for service users with enduring and severe mental health needs.
* To lead and co-ordinate on provision of the therapeutic programme, including running both group and individual sessions
* To work as a member of the MDT under the supervision of the Head of therapies, ensuring the Occupational needs of the service users are considered and addressed
* To assist in running the Occupational Therapy team, providing management supervision to Occupational Therapy assistants
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working in Occupational Therapy and personal experience of working in a Mental Health setting
* Full HCPC registration
* A passion for Mental Health
