A well-established family-run nursery is seeking high-calibre, hardworking, and creative Senior Nursery Practitioner. The nursery prides itself on employing dedicated individuals who are passionate about working with young children and contributing to a high-quality childcare environment.
Senior Nursery Practitioner
Location: Leatherhead
Salary: Up to £29,500
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-time or Part-time
Role Overview:
The successful candidates will play an essential role in delivering excellent childcare and supporting children’s development in a nurturing and stimulating setting. A Level 3 qualification or above in childcare is required. The nursery values the experience and commitment of its staff and is dedicated to helping them grow professionally through ongoing training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide attentive, creative, and safe care to young children.
* Support children’s development through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive nursery environment.
* Uphold all safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing standards.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and the wider nursery community.
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare (NNEB, BTEC, NCFE, NVQ, or equivalent).
* Previous childcare experience.
* Ability to work flexibly and take initiative.
* A passion for early years education and willingness to contribute new ideas.
