Senior Oncology Nurse – Central London
Permanent | Full-Time | £45,000 – £55,000 + enhancements + benefits
We are currently partnering with one of London’s leading private hospitals to recruit an experienced Senior Oncology Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-class cancer care service in the heart of Central London, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a highly supportive multidisciplinary team.
The Role
As a Senior Oncology Nurse, you will take responsibility for delivering exceptional patient care across oncology and haematology services. You will act as a mentor to junior staff, support patients undergoing systemic anti-cancer treatments, and play a key role in service improvement initiatives.
Key Duties
* Provide safe and effective care for oncology patients, including the administration of SACT.
* Offer emotional support to patients and families throughout treatment.
* Act as a clinical leader and role model within the team.
* Supervise, mentor, and develop junior nursing colleagues.
* Engage in quality improvement and governance activities.
Candidate Requirements
* NMC Registered Nurse with post-registration oncology experience.
* Chemotherapy/SACT competency (or willingness to complete training).
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
