Job Description
Our client, a leading Design & Build contractor in the water sector, is currently seeking experienced Senior or Principal Civil Design Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. This role focuses on non-infrastructure projects within clean and wastewater treatment works, with opportunities for flexible hybrid working from locations in Warrington, Preston, or Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver civil design for non-infra water and wastewater projects, including treatment works, pumping stations, and CSOs.
Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including MEICA, process, and structural engineers.
Engage with clients, internal teams, and contractors to ensure practical design delivery.
Provide input across feasibility, outline, and detailed design stages.
Job Requirements:
Strong background in the UK water sector, particularly with AMP frameworks.
Proven experience in non-infra projects, with a focus on treatment works.
Proficiency in civil design principles and relevant software, such as Civil 3D and MicroDrainage.
Comfortable working in a Design & Build environment with fast-paced delivery expectations.
Ability to attend the office 1-2 days per week in Warrington, Preston, or Leeds.
