As a Senior Paralegal you will play a vital role within our Recoveries department by assisting in the management and progression of possession claims through the County Court. You will ensure that clients, represented by Flint Bishop, receive pro-active, consistent, and efficient levels of service.
The role is full time, Monday to Friday 37.5 hour per week at our office in Leeds. Reporting to the Litigation Team Manager and overall reporting to the Director of Operations, Collections & Recoveries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the production of monthly MI and submission of other client reports.
* Assist with work quality checking and end to end case reviews.
* Deputise in the absence of the Litigation Team Manager.
* Assist with operational and business projects.
* Provide guidance, feedback and training to Trainees where required, passing queries you are unsure of to your team manager for guidance.
* Handling own caseload of files from initial instruction through to obtaining possession or instructions from our client to close our file.
* Working to service standards agreed with our lender clients
* Updating client systems to reflect the activities we have performed
* Assisting with client reporting and management information
* Deal wherever possible with routine client enquiries and communications.
* Identify areas that may benefit from improvement and communicate them to your team manager.
* Undertake elements of fee earning work under supervision
Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
You will:

* Preferably have experience working as a Paralegal and handling a caseload autonomously.

* Be self-motivated with a high level of enthusiasm and commitment.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to operate flexibly and as part of a team.
