The Role:

Due to continued growth, the business is seeking a Senior Planner to join its established and experienced team, based from the Pulborough office.

This is a rare opportunity to lead planning projects from start to finish, managing your own caseload and client relationships rather than operating in a purely support role. You will be trusted to shape planning strategies, negotiate with local authorities, and deliver positive outcomes, with access to expertise across the wider business.

Key Requirements:

  * 

    Degree in Planning or a related discipline accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute

  * 

    Chartered Member of the RTPI

  * 

    Relevant experience in development planning or development management (ideally private sector)

  * 

    Strong technical knowledge and understanding of current planning policy and practice

  * 

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  * 

    Confident managing projects independently while working collaboratively

  * 

    Proactive, organised, and commercially aware approach

  * 

    Full UK driving licence and access to a car

  * 

    Permanent right to work in the UK
