Job Description

Senior Planner
Permanent | Full Time (40 hours per week)

A specialist civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to take full responsibility for planning and programme requirements across a range of projects.

The business operates across complex structural works, including bridge deck waterproofing, concrete repair, steel strengthening, cathodic protection, expansion joints, and specialist refurbishment projects.

The Role
The Senior Planner will support Project Managers in delivering all planning and programme activities across multiple live projects, while also contributing to tender preparation and pre-construction planning. The role involves working across several schemes, providing planning expertise, and ensuring programmes are realistic, robust, and deliverable.

About You
• Experience operating in a senior planning role
• Strong project planning background within civil engineering
• Proficient in Primavera P6
• Experience supporting tenders and pre-construction activities
• Knowledge of NEC4 contracts
• Experience working on civils projects
• Degree qualified or equivalent
• UK driving licence (desirable)
