Senior Planner
Location: Kent
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading property development company in their search for a Senior Planner in Kent.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Planner to take a leading role in managing and delivering strategic planning projects. You will guide development proposals from inception to approval, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex planning applications, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Provide expert planning advice to internal teams and stakeholders.
Prepare and submit planning documents, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
Mentor and support junior planning staff, fostering professional development.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Planner, ideally within a property development or consultancy environment.
Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and legislation.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Membership of the RTPI or equivalent professional body is desirable.
