Senior Planning Lawyer
Rate: £50-£60 per hour - Negotiable DOE
Contract Length: 3-6-month initial contract

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to provide expert legal advice on complex planning and highways matters.
Working on behalf of a London Borough Council, you will advise on a wide range of planning, regeneration, and highways matters, supporting the council in delivering key infrastructure and development projects.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, negotiate, and complete complex s106 and s278 agreements.
Provide clear legal advice on governance and decision-making processes.
Support major infrastructure and development projects by identifying risks and advising on mitigations.
(Desirable) Attend and advise at planning committees when required.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX Lawyer with a current practising certificate.
Significant experience in local government law, particularly in planning, regeneration, and highways.
Proven expertise in drafting and advising on complex s106 and s278 agreements.
Strong knowledge of good governance arrangements and council decision-making processes.
