Job Summary: Our Civil Aerospace client is looking to appoint a Senior Powerplant Aerodynamic Design Engineer to support the design and verification of civil aircraft powerplant intake, exhaust and thrust reverser systems for their new wide bodied civil passenger  aircraft program. The role requires proficiency in detailed aerodynamic design processes for intake, exhaust and thrust reversers, and the capability to conduct detailed analysis and definition of critical scenarios in powerplant aerodynamic design. Key Responsibilities: Design and verification of civil aircraft powerplant intake, exhaust and thrust reverser systems. Conduct detailed analysis and definition of critical scenarios in powerplant aerodynamic design. Required Skills & Experience: Master’s degree or above in aerodynamics , Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of civil aircraft powerplant systems. Experience of working in other international engine, nacelle suppliers or aircraft manufacturers; preference will be given to those with experience in wide-body or long-range aircraft type programs. Experienced in the aerodynamic design and verification of civil aircraft powerplant intake, exhaust and thrust reverser systems. Capability to conduct detailed analysis and definition of critical scenarios in powerplant aerodynamic design. Strong understanding of CS, FAR 25 compliance. Good command of English for technical communication Mandarin Chinese skills are a plus. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a multi-disciplinary team.Initial contracts of 1-3 years offered with potential to extend. Candidates should be prepared to live and work in China for 1- 3 years initial contract
