Our client is a growing accountancy practice based in Farringdon, Central London, with a close-knit team of 8+ staff on-site and a further 10+ professionals offshore. The firm supports a wide range of clients, from SMEs and startups to established UK businesses, providing high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong practice experience and excellent technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105 standards.
This role will involve managing a portfolio of clients, reviewing accounts, providing tax advice, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA qualified (or finalist) with at least 5+ years’ experienceworking within a UK accountancy practice.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries
*
Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with FRS 102 / FRS 105 standards
*
Produce management accounts and VAT returns
*
Provide sound tax planning and advisory support to clients
*
Review the work of junior accountants and support their development
*
Liaise with clients regularly, maintaining strong relationships
*
Ensure compliance with accounting and tax deadlines
Requirements
*
ACCA / ACA Qualified (or finalist level)
*
Minimum 5 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice
*
Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105
*
Experience managing a client portfolio independently
*
Confident in preparing and reviewing accounts and tax computations
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
*
Proficient in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
