⚖️ Senior Practice Lead (Grade 11) - Children's Services
📍 Chester / Ellesmere Port, Cheshire West
🕣 Monday to Friday | 08:30 - 17:00
💷 Up to £40/hour (Umbrella)

Are you an experienced social work professional looking for your next challenge? We're on the lookout for a Senior Practice Lead (Grade 11) to join a supportive and high-performing team in Cheshire West.
✅ About the Role:
You'll provide professional expertise and support to children's social workers and other professionals working with:
👨👩👧👦 Children in Need
🛡️ Child Protection
⚖️ Pre-Proceedings & Care Proceedings
You will also:
Supervise and mentor family support workers and social work staff
Manage a small complex caseload
Promote evidence-based practice using tools like Research in Practice & C4EO
Support professional development across the team
Maintain high-quality case work in line with Cheshire West's standards
🧠 What You'll Need:
Minimum 5 years post-qualified experience
Strong background in Duty/Assessment, CIN & CP/Legal work
Social Work England registration 🪪
Recent references 📄
Ability to work honestly and collaboratively with families and partner agencies
