Senior Practitioner - Community Team / Family Help Service
London Borough of Redbridge
Salary: £47,532 - £52,584 per annum + £3,000 Recruitment & Retention Bonus
Contract: Permanent | Full-time - 37 hours per week
Location: Family Help / Community Team, Redbridge
The Role
Redbridge Council requires a Senior Practitioner to lead and manage complex family cases within the Community Team's Family Help Service. You will provide professional guidance and support to social workers, ensuring high-quality interventions.
You will also liaise with multi-agency partners and contribute to service improvement and safeguarding practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complex assessments and family interventions.
Supervise and mentor social workers.
Provide professional advice and support service development.
Coordinate with partner agencies.
Ensure accurate records and compliance with safeguarding policies.
Requirements
HCPC-registered Social Worker qualification.
At least 3 years post-qualifying experience, ideally within early help or community services.
Leadership and case management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
