Senior Practitioners – Children’s Services (Family Safeguarding) £49,082 – £53,265 per annum + Welcome Bonus Permanent, Full Time / Part Time Stevenage (East) / Apsley (West) About the Role Hertfordshire County Council is seeking experienced Senior Practitioners to join our Family Safeguarding Teams. This innovative model of practice is designed to keep more children safely at home with their families through a strengths-based, multi-disciplinary approach. As a Senior Practitioner, you will: Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional oversight within the team. Carry a protected caseload of complex cases, ensuring high-quality interventions. Undertake assessments, safeguarding enquiries and court work where required. Support colleagues with practice development and decision-making.
