About the Role
The Pre-Construction Manager will play a vital role in ensuring projects are set up for success from the outset. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and delivery teams, the individual will take ownership of early-stage planning, ensuring projects are commercially viable, technically robust, and aligned with client expectations. Responsibilities will include:

Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans, and risk assessments

Developing project programmes to align design, procurement, and delivery stages

Securing statutory and landlord approvals to ensure compliance

Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to anticipate challenges and provide proactive solutions

Requirements
The successful candidate will bring:

Demonstrable experience in pre-construction or project planning, ideally within the commercial fit-out or design-and-build sector

Strong commercial skills, including budgeting, estimating, and financial control

Knowledge of landlord approval processes, building regulations, and compliance within commercial interiors
*
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
*
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
*
Professional qualifications such as RICS, CIOB, or APS (or equivalent experience) are desirable
