Location: Alton, Hampshire
Hours: 05:45am - 14:15pm Monday - Friday (No weekends)
Salary: £30k - £32k+ (Depending on Experience)
Main Purpose of the Role
The main purpose of this role is to produce accurate and high-quality parts by bending them according to production design and specifications.
Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Bending parts using standard punches/dies on Press Brakes under the direction of the Production Supervisor.
Setting up the Press Brakes according to provided drawings.
Using measuring instruments like verniers and callipers to ensure accurate results and making necessary adjustments.
Cleaning and maintaining Press Brakes after use.
Reading and interpreting drawings and instructions.
Operating forklift trucks and overhead cranes.
Maintaining good housekeeping within the immediate working area.
