Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer (Building Services)
Glasgow (or Edinburgh, with flexibility across the UK)
Permanent, Full-time - 37.5 hours per week

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in Building Services and a passion for delivering innovative, sustainable design? The role
As a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role within the company's Energy and Special Interest Projects team, leading the design and delivery of a variety of small and large-scale schemes across RIBA Stages 2-7.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading LV electrical design for building services and infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers, cabling and control systems.
Preparing feasibility studies, concept designs, specifications, and calculations.
Overseeing and mentoring junior engineers and checking technical work.
Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and key suppliers.
Contributing to business development and project management activities.
Ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.About you
You'll ideally bring:
A degree in Building Services Engineering or a related field.
Chartered status (CIBSE or IET), or working towards it.
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Dialux and Amtech.
Experience delivering electrical design projects within building services or infrastructure environments.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
A good understanding of UK Building Regulations, BS standards, and ISO 19650 information management principles.
Knowledge of HV design would be advantageous.Why join?
