Senior / Principal Wastewater Modeller

£50,000 – £75,000 (DOE + benefits + clear path to Principal / Associate level)
We’re partnering with a well-respected environmental consultancy (part of a recognised global brand) to support the expansion of their water modelling team across multiple UK hubs.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal Wastewater Modeller to step into a role with long-term project security, technical variety and clear progression toward Principal / Associate level and beyond. The Role:
* Leading or supporting the delivery of wastewater catchment planning, sewer network modelling, SuDS strategies and urban drainage optimisation
* Building, verifying and running hydraulic models using InfoWorks ICM
* Working across a range of UKWIR-based studies including stormwater management, flooding from sewers, CSO performance and Sewerage Management Plans
* Collaborating closely with data scientists, civil engineers and planners to deliver integrated water solutions
* Mentoring junior modellers and acting as technical QA or delivery lead on key projects
* Engaging directly with water company clients to shape deliverables and drive efficiency across their networks
Experience:
* Experience delivering wastewater modelling projects using InfoWorks ICM
* Strong understanding of UK water company processes and standards
* Ability to manage projects or work-streams with minimal oversight
* Excellent communication skills - able to simplify complex modelling for clients and stakeholders
* (For Principal level) Experience leading delivery teams and/or contributing to bids/frameworks and commercial acumen
