Location: West Dorset (Office-based with flexibility)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:15 pm
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000, dependent on experience and expertise

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded legal team in the heart of West Dorset. This role would suit someone looking for both autonomy and support, working alongside a diverse team of legal professionals, including junior lawyers, experienced solicitors, and dedicated support staff.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage a broad caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, and LPAs
Deliver tailored legal advice with a focus on building long-term client relationships
Collaborate with internal teams to share knowledge and ensure seamless client service
Support and mentor junior team members to aid their development
Engage in business development activities and contribute to the strategic growth of the department
Ideal Candidate Profile
A qualified solicitor or legal executive with 5+ years PQE in private client law
Confident in handling complex estate and succession planning matters
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A client-centric mindset with a proactive, solutions-led approach
Keen to contribute to team culture and wider firm success through networking and business development
