 Do you have a strong background in wastewater treatment process design, including calculations, risk assessments and technical assurance?

 The Opportunity
 Due to growth and project requirements, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to join one of our key clients on a permanent basis. As Senior Process Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting critical water infrastructure projects. It is important to have experience in the water/wastewater or similar industries.
 
 Your duties and responsibilities will be
Producing robust process design outputs that meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements across water and wastewater schemes
Developing efficient process solutions through interpretation of scope, site data and stakeholder input, and clearly presenting these to clients and project teams
Leading and supporting graduate and junior engineers to ensure high-quality technical delivery
Completing process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic sizing, flow diagrams, control philosophies and commissioning approaches
Preparing technical reports, specifications, design risk assessments and contributing to HAZOP and other formal design reviews
 You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Extensive process design experience within the regulated water industry, with a proven focus on wastewater treatment
Strong technical knowledge of wastewater unit processes and treatment plant design
Engineering qualification – Beng/MEng in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Confidence working to recognised engineering standards, company procedures and formal design processes
Sound IT capability and the ability to manage design changes, documentation and programme estimates
 It’s great if you also have the following
Chartered or working towards Chartered status with a recognised engineering institution
Previous involvement in HAZOP studies, ideally chairing or acting as lead process engineer
