An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Process Technologist to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in the Southwest. This site is undergoing significant investment to drive innovation and product development across multiple cuisines.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist looking to lead process improvements, manage product launches, and collaborate closely with NPD teams. The position offers strong career progression within a business focused on quality, growth, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support process trials from concept to launch.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
* Maintain the critical path and ensure timelines are achieved.
* Manage customer panels and coordinate feedback implementation.
* Develop and support your team to meet business goals.
* Ensure all activities comply with customer standards and audit requirements.
* Assist with budgeting and cost control of trials.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation on-site.
What You'll Bring:
* A strong background working in food manufacturing.
* Experience managing customer trials and factory launches.
* Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2 (or equivalent).
* Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* A full UK driving licence.
