Job Description
The Role
BAE Systems - Submarine Solutions are looking for a Senior Procurement Practitioner to join the Supply Chain Function within the People Capability team at their site in Barrow-in-Furness. The role holder will be managing a training portfolio which involves but is not limited to:
Plotting information from the delivery team to manage the training demand. They would liase with Shared Services to book in those training courses.
Sending reminders to ensure attendance and investigating why they haven't been attended.
Will manage swap forms and training waste but investigating which courses show no interest and why.
What are BAE Systems looking for from you?
Have Procurement experience, in order to understand common language.
Ideally come from an HR/Learning & Development background.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Security Requirements: SC & UK EYES ONLY
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC and you must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum 5 year period. You must also be a sole British national, due to the UK EYES ONLY security restriction.
The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate.
