The role of a Senior Production Engineer will include:
Provide practical, hands-on technical support for escalated engineering issues in semiconductor wafer manufacturing
Lead the rollout of new process equipment and drive continuous improvement projects
Collaborate with internal development teams and suppliers on tooling updates and design modifications
Ensure safe working practices and compliance with EH&S requirements, including PUWER and CE marking
Manage equipment commissioning activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), FAT/SAT testing, and process validation
Promote process excellence through methods such as Lean and Six Sigma
The ideal Senior Production Engineer should have the following skills and experience:
Degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or equivalent practical experience
Proven background in semiconductor or wafer manufacturing
Skilled in diagnosing and repairing high-spec equipment, managing vendor maintenance schedules, and quickly identifying faults
Experience in regulated industries, working with Quality Control processes and validation systems
Confident in working with technical documentation, including specifications, work instructions, and validation reports
