This Senior Project Manager role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of residential projects, ranging from large-scale regeneration and build-to-rent developments through to high-quality private residential schemes.
With a healthy pipeline of residential work across the Midlands and wider UK, this consultancy continues to expand its project management offering. The incoming Senior Project Manager will take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, working closely with developers, investors and key stakeholders. This Senior Project Manager position would suit an experienced consultancy professional seeking greater responsibility, client exposure and a clear route for career progression within a respected business. The successful Senior Project Manager will also have the opportunity to work across other sectors as project requirements dictate.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The 'Senior Project Manager's' role
The successful Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery against programme, cost and quality objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing residential developments from feasibility through to completion.
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Leading multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams.
Managing project programmes, risks and reporting requirements.
Overseeing procurement and contract administration activities.
Monitoring project performance and ensuring successful delivery.
Chairing project meetings and producing client reports.
Supporting projects across additional sectors where required.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Assisting with business development and mentoring junior team members.
The 'Senior Project Manager'
The ideal Senior Project Manager will have a strong consultancy background and proven experience delivering residential projects.
Requirements:
Experience working as a Senior Project Manager within a construction consultancy.
Strong residential development experience.
Proven ability to manage projects through all stages of delivery.
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Chartered status or working towards MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB.
Commercial awareness and strong project delivery capabilities.
