Senior Project Manager – Data centres - Dublin
Our client is a dynamic, fast growing data centre developer. They have grown rapidly, mainly through acquisitions, over the last few years and now operate 60 different sites across Europe. The organisation is still heavily in acquisition mode and are about to add a further 10-sites to their portfolio with advanced talks for others that may come to fruition over the next 12-18 months. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in Dublin and take ownership of the project from Design to commissioning.
Responsibilities
* End-to-End Project Leadership:
Manage the full lifecycle of the data centre build—from early-stage design and technical review through to commissioning and handover—ensuring alignment with client objectives and programme milestones.
* MEP Coordination & Oversight:
Provide expert oversight of all MEP systems, working closely with design consultants, contractors, and equipment vendors to ensure technical accuracy, integration, and compliance with data centre standards.
* Design & Technical Interface Management:
Act as the lead clientside representative during design development, ensuring constructability, value engineering, and risk mitigation are considered from the outset.
* Commissioning & Handover Leadership:
Oversee all aspects of system commissioning and integrated systems testing (IST), ensuring all MEP components are fully tested, certified, and delivered to operational readiness.
* Stakeholder & Delivery Partner Management:
Engage with internal teams, general contractors, and third-party delivery partners to drive accountability, resolve technical challenges, and maintain programme delivery targets.
Requirements
Must have prior experience working on Data Centre construction projects
Must have 3+ previous experience working clientside on large-scale construction projects
Ideal Candidate will come from an MEP background
