This is an exciting opportunity to join our Beacons and Navigation Equipment team. The team deals with single and multi-test discipline projects with a key focus on COSPAS/SARSAT, AIS, Radar and other marine navigation equipment. The Project Manager/Coordination will be responsible for managing the client and business expectations during the course of test and certification projects, to ensure that they meet contractual deliverables/timescales and that costs are within budget.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Acting as principal intermediary between the client and the operating areas, from the beginning to the end of single discipline projects.
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects to ensure prompt and accurate invoicing at the earliest opportunities during each month.
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Communicate project progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
* Drive team collaboration, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Ensuring accurate project forecasts are kept current and up to date by utilizing project management tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
* Mentor and coach project coordinators and other team members.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices
Essential Criteria – the successful candidate will have/be:
* Recent experience in a customer facing project coordination, handling or management role.
* Has a good understanding of customers’ needs and perspectives and strives to improve customer experience.
* A good team player with a positive “can-do” attitude who actively and positively engages with colleagues with a proactive approach to change and self-development.
* An excellent communicator - written, face-to-face and by telephone.
* Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise workload based on client and business requirements.
* Consistently delivers, plans for contingencies and looks for opportunities to improve.
* Competent user of business tools with excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Desirable Criteria:
* Experience in a technical industry would be ideal but not essential
* Testing, Inspection and Certification industry knowledge.
* Working knowledge of regulatory and voluntary compliance requirements.
* Experience of dealing with international customers.
