Job Description
Senior QA Officer
An established and growing pharmaceutical contract manufacturing organisation in the North West is seeking a motivated Senior QA Officer ready to take the next step into line management. The senior QA officer will lead a team of QA officers while maintaining hands-on involvement in day-to-day quality operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and begin to manage a team of QA Officers, providing guidance and coaching.
* Oversee batch documentation review to support a compliant product release.
* Contribute to investigations, OOS, deviations, and drive CAPAs to closure.
* Assist in maintaining and updating the QMS, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
* Support supplier assurance activities, audits, and non-conformance management.
* Provide QA support across manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse operations.
* Promote a strong quality culture across site and support inspection readiness.
Role Requirements
* Experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance within a GMP-regulated environment.
* Strong knowledge of batch review, CAPAs, deviations, and QMS processes.
* Exposure to audit activities.
* Ambition to step into leadership, with the confidence to coach and support colleagues.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
