Job Description
Role: Senior Quality Engineer (Injection Moulding)
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum + Overtime & Bonus (OTE £40,000-£45,000)
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am–1:00pm (39 hours/week)
Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support quality assurance across departments
Conduct internal audits and assist with external/customer audits
Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage documentation and compliance with ISO standards
Oversee product verification, reporting, and customer returns
Support production checks and despatch quality processes
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a senior quality role within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards
Skilled in quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and Six Sigma
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Auditor training and experience with automotive quality systems (desirable)
Experience in rubber/plastic injection moulding is a plus
