Senior Quality Engineer
Horsham - Hybrid
£45,000 - £55,000
Are you an experienced Quality professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our growing Quality team and support the ongoing development and improvement of our Business Management System (BMS).
Working for a surveillance and fire control specialist, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring compliance to ISO 9001 and other industry standards.
Key Accountabilities - Senior Quality Engineer
+ Maintain and continually improve the Business Management System (BMS) to meet ISO 9001 and defence industry standards.
+ Administer the internal audit schedule and conduct internal audits to monitor effectiveness.
+ Lead and support corrective action activities for material and process non-conformances.
+ Develop clear and concise processes, procedures, and work instructions.
+ Liaise directly with customers on Quality issues, including calls, visits, and bid/contract reviews.
+ Review bids and contracts for Quality requirements and prepare Quality Plans.
+ Support design gateway reviews to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
+ Conduct fault analysis and prepare reports on customer returns.
Skills and knowledge required - Senior Quality Engineer
+ Proven experience managing QMS/BMS within a design and manufacturing environment.
+ Strong auditing background (internal and supplier).
+ Qualified to HNC/HND level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
+ Knowledge of structured problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
+ Ability to develop processes and documentation within a QMS/BMSBefore You Apply
