Quality Manager
Location: Whitstable, Kent
Salary: £50k Per annum

Join a thriving organisation as our client's new Quality Manager, where you'll take ownership of the quality and environmental management systems. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role offers the opportunity to influence and improve their systems in support of multiple organisational approvals and certifications.
You’ll be the key point of contact for customers, regulators, and certification bodies, and lead internal and external audits, supplier assessments, and corrective action processes. Also, chair internal management system reviews and multi-stakeholder design reviews.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining quality and environmental management systems (AS9100 Rev D, ISO14001:2015).
* Leading internal audits and reporting.
* Conducting project audits (DO-178, DO-254).
* Managing supplier approvals and audits.
* Driving corrective actions and measuring effectiveness.
* Acting as primary liaison for quality-related communications.
* Chairing internal reviews and design discussions.
Candidate requirements:
* Experience in a design and manufacturing environment.
* High-level knowledge of AS9100 Rev D and ISO14001:2015.
* Familiarity with EASA / UK CAA regulations for C1 Appliances / C6 Components.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Confidence and initiative to shape organisational quality direction.
