We’re working with a well-established main contractor based in West Yorkshire, known for delivering top-tier projects across the civils and groundworks space. Their portfolio spans everything from earthworks and substructures to drainage, reinforced concrete, external works and surfacing—so if you know your stuff in the dirt and the detail, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in the commercial success of projects. Expect to:

Take the lead on cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
*
Procure subcontractor and supplier packages with confidence
*
Manage contract administration under JCT and NEC forms
*
Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts
*
Keep tight control on project finances and performance
*
Flag risks and spot opportunities before anyone else
*
Deliver clear, concise reports to senior management
*
Guide and mentor junior QS team members
*
Be the go-to for commercial and contractual advice on site
*
Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and site teams
