Senior Quantity Surveyor (construction) - Greater Leinster
Salary: €90,000 - €110,000
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established construction company with a strong track record delivering complex projects across pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, educational, and public sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of high-value projects and play a key role in cost management, procurement, and financial control.
The Role
As Senior QS, you will:
Lead cost planning, estimation, and procurement strategies for large-scale construction projects.
Manage tendering processes, including preparation of documentation, evaluation, and negotiation.
Monitor budgets, valuations, variations, and final accounts to ensure accurate reporting and financial control.
Support project teams through risk assessments, value engineering, and pre-construction planning.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain strong relationships and deliver best-value outcomes.
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry accreditations.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
15+ years' post-graduate experience in construction, ideally in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or complex building projects.
Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to manage cost reporting and financial control.
Experience working with both BIM-integrated workflows and traditional QS methods.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Professional accreditation (MRICS, SCSI, CIOB, or equivalent) desirable.
