Hill McGlynn Recruitment is pleased to present a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client on a permanent basis. Located in Essex, this role offers the chance to work on diverse projects within a supportive and dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of construction projects, including procurement, cost control, and contractual negotiations. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time, maintaining strong relationships with clients and contractors alike.
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
Experience working with NEC contracts
Experience working on Education projects £30m+
Strong knowledge of contract management and estimating procedures
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple Projects simultaneously
Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
Experience working with various types of construction projects and budgets
