Job Description
I'm looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for reinforced concrete and groundworks schemes in the Home Counties (Herts, Beds, Bucks) and very occasionally in London. Due to an increased workload my client is looking to strengthen their commercial team.
My client is one of the top up and coming specialists in their sector in the UK and they have a turnover that is sure to grow substantially over the coming years due to a healthy order book. Currently it stands at around the £50 m mark.
This is despite the recent challenging economic climate. As well as a financially stable business my client operates in a professional manner and as an employee you will be able to work without undue supervision unless assistance is required.
My client takes on packages in demolition/groundworks and RC works and it is essential that you have a background in demo,groundworks or reinforced concrete structures subcontracting.
Ideally you will have worked for a contractor in this specialist sector of industry.
On offer is a good rate or salary and package along with the opportunity to join a thriving organisation where you are rewarded for your efforts.You will be working as a number 2 to the Commercial Manager and this will provide an interesting learning opportunity with further prospects for the future.
