Your new role
Working on a major project, they now require a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. You will take the lead on projects or clusters of packages, with full accountability for pre- and post-contract strategies, commercial functions, and contract reporting.You'll work collaboratively with clients and industry specialists, focusing on value creation, compliance, commercial viability, and best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the commercial team to ensure all main contract obligations are fulfilled, including procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, and change control.
Produce and submit monthly cost reports, procurement strategy updates, and progress reports.
Develop and implement tender and delivery strategies.
Manage valuations to maintain positive project cash flow and agree final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working at Senior Quantity Surveyor level on major commercial projects is essential.
