ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a pivotal role in delivering prestigious and complex projects, ensuring value for money and client satisfaction at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of cost control, from initial estimates through to final accounts.
* Oversee procurement, tendering, and subcontractor negotiations.
* Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cashflows.
* Provide commercial and contractual advice to project teams.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in refurbishment and/or construction.
* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and construction law.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to lead and influence.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
