Job Description
Our client, a renowned consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. The role primarily involves working on infrastructure projects related to waste and spill management within the Severn Trent area.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing quantity surveying tasks in line with project requirements
Managing pre-contract activities and contract negotiations
Applying NEC4 Option A and C contract protocols
Conducting detailed cost analysis and budget management
Supporting the delivery of waste and infrastructure projects
Collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure project success
Providing accurate reports and documentation throughout project lifecycles
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in quantity surveying, specifically within the water sector
Strong knowledge of NEC4 Option A and C contracts
Proficiency in surveying and cost management
Understanding of pre-contract and contract negotiation processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Availability to be based in Stoke-on-Trent for 2-3 days a week
