Senior Quantity Surveyor – Immediate Requirement
Location: North East London
Rate / Salary: £75,(Apply online only)–£95,(Apply online only) + package
A well-established main contractor is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the addition of an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a £100m mixed-use residential project in North London. This scheme offers the opportunity to take responsibility for end-to-end commercial delivery on a large-scale development. Experience in procurement, cost management, and contract administration will be highly regarded.
Position Overview
Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: North London
Engagement: Permanent, Contract, or Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Key Responsibilities
Oversee procurement processes and manage trade packages
Prepare and assess valuations, variations, and payments
Monitor project budgets and cost forecasts
Attend and contribute to regular site and progress meetings
Support commercial reporting and maintain compliance with contract terms
Ideal Background
Proven experience on large-scale new-build or mixed-use residential schemes
Knowledge of JCT forms of contract
Experience across PCSA and two-stage procurement advantageous
Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple packages
