Senior Quantity Surveyor - Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an MRICS-qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving consultancy with a strong regional presence. The role involves managing key commissions across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and commercial projects. You will work within a collaborative Quantity Surveying team, reporting to the Associate QS, and play a pivotal role in delivering both pre- and post-contract services.

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Job Requirements
MRICS (Chartered Quantity Surveyor) - essential
Strong post-qualification experience in consultancy or client-side roles
Cost planning and financial reporting in accordance with RICS standards
Tender and contract document preparation
Post-contract duties including valuations, variations, and final accounts
Reinstatement cost assessments, viability reports, and life cycle costing
Able to chair meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and design teams
Document management in line with QA procedures
Proficient in managing commissions independently
Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and collaborative with strong mentoring abilities
Office-based with travel to local sites as required
