Job Description
Permanent Role | Salary: Negotiable
We're seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a permanent basis, working on civil engineering projects including highways, structures, river works, and flood protection.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentor junior staff and support team development
Maximise contract profitability and monitor costs
Identify and manage commercial risks
Prepare estimates and procure subcontractors
Manage subcontractor payments and contract variations
Support dispute resolution processes
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements:
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Excellent numeracy and IT proficiency
Experience with NEC contracts and working with main contractors
Background in civil engineering projects
