Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor – Passive Fire Protection
Location: Central London (Projects Across Data Centres & Airports)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Contract Types: NEC3 / NEC4 / FIDIC
The Shore Group are working with a leading specialist subcontractor in passive fire protection is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. With a strong presence in critical infrastructure environments such as airports and data centres, the company delivers high-quality, safety-led services as part of large Tier 1 contractor teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management & Contract Administration
*
Manage project costs from inception to completion under NEC or FIDIC contracts.
*
Conduct budget reviews, cost analysis, and value engineering.
*
Prepare and negotiate monthly applications and manage Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events.
*
Administer contracts with attention to time-critical obligations and robust change control.
Tendering & Procurement
*
Manage tender processes for subcontractors and suppliers.
*
Evaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure alignment with budgets and specifications.
Reporting & Collaboration
*
Produce detailed cost reports and forecasts.
*
Work closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to maintain strong commercial relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.
*
Extensive experience with NEC contracts.
*
Strong background working with Tier 1 contractors or as a specialist subcontractor.
*
Proficient in MS Excel and relevant estimating/project management tools.
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skillsBefore You Apply
