Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor – Full Envelope Façade Subcontractor

Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 (Depending on Experience)

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial management across multiple high-value façade packages. This role will involve working closely with project and pre-construction teams to ensure cost control, risk management, and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Take full commercial responsibility for façade projects from pre-contract through to final account.
*
Prepare, submit, and manage interim applications, variations, and final accounts.
*
Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flow in line with internal targets.
*
Identify, assess, and manage contractual risks and opportunities.
*
Oversee procurement of subcontractors and materials, including drafting and negotiating contracts.
*
Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to maintain strong working relationships.
*
Support the commercial team with mentoring junior QS staff as required.
*
Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts, and valuations for internal and external stakeholders.
*
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, including JCT and NEC forms of contract.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the façade, cladding, or specialist subcontractor sector, ideally with full envelope experience.
*
Strong understanding of construction contracts, variations, and claims management.
*
Excellent analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
*
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
*
Proficient in relevant software such as Excel and construction-specific estimating/cost software.
*
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional background.
*
Based in or able to commute to London.
