Job Description
Our client is well-respected, firm of Quantity Surveyors & Project Managers, seeking an energetic and confident Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team based from their Ely office. The Quantity Surveyor will be providing contractor support, working on pre/post contracts up to final accounts for a range of main contractors.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of projects across the residential/commercial sectors, with values ranging from £100k to £500 million. With an emphasis on staff satisfaction, our client offers a competitive package with 25 days holiday excluding the Christmas shutdown, Hybrid working and APC support available.
Quantity Surveyor Position Salary & Benefits
Salary: £40k - £60k
Hybrid working
25 days holiday + 3-4 days during Xmas period

Carry out estimating services including BQ production
Carry out quantity surveying services
Provide the lead on commercial and financial advice
Provide procurement and contract advice
Maximise value recovery, cost control and cash management on projects worked on
Commercially manage and control SC packages on projects worked on
Assist in the protection of the Company's contractual position on projects worked on
Prepare final accountsQuantity Surveyor Position Requirements
Industry experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Contractor or PQS firm.
A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction or similar.
Need to be willing to commute to Ely twice per week.
Communicate effectively or build good working relationships
