Senior Quantity Surveyor
Ridgeway & Co are working with a well-established main contractor to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for several upcoming and live projects across London.
The company is known for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use schemes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS looking to step into a key commercial role on fast-paced and complex developments.
The Role Will Involve:

Reporting to the Commercial Director and Project Leadership
*
Liaising with design teams to ensure project specs are aligned with budgets
*
Building and maintaining relationships with client-side teams and consultants
*
Leading subcontract procurement and commercial administration
*
Preparing and managing tender submissions, cost plans, and financial reports
*
Overseeing payment applications, variations, and final account negotiations
*
Attending monthly cost reporting meetings and maintaining accurate forecasts
*
Supporting junior team members with mentoring and commercial sign-off
What We're Looking For:
*
Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
*
Strong commercial, contractual, and reporting skills
*
Knowledge of subcontractor management, cost control, and project financials
*
Ability to operate independently while collaborating with wider site and project teams
*
Competence using construction software for valuations and forecasting
*
Excellent communication and client-facing professionalism
