Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Cotswolds
Reports to: Managing Director
About the Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll lead end-to-end service delivery on large, complex projects across sectors like commercial, education, hotels & leisure, retail, and residential. Supporting the Directors, you’ll drive technical excellence, commercial insight, and innovation while mentoring junior staff. This role offers excellent career progression and the chance to work nationally with diverse clients. 🌍✨
What You’ll Do
You’ll manage cost planning, tendering, and contract administration, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll coach junior team members, embed best practices, and use digital tools to improve project delivery. Managing risks, developing commercial strategies, and supporting dispute resolution will also be part of your day-to-day. 💼📊
What You’ll Bring

Ideally MRICS or MCIOB qualified (or working towards) 🎓
*
Experience delivering medium to large projects (£5m–£50m+), ideally with hotel & leisure clients 🏨
*
Strong pre and post contract quantity surveying & commercial skills 💡
*
Excellent communication and self-management skills 🗣️⏰
*
In-depth knowledge of construction processes and contracts (JCT, NEC3) 📜
*
Confident with IT tools for project management 💻
*
Flexible to travel nationally and adapt working hours 🚗
*
Full, clean UK driving license required 🛣️
