Job Description
A leading national contractor is seeking a Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a long-term Maintenance and Construction framework. This is a key role within a collaborative Commercial team, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects under NEC4 contracts
The Role:
You'll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of both planned maintenance and new build works across a multi-year framework agreement. The role involves close liaison with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure commercial success and compliance with NEC4 contract requirements
You'll be responsible for preparing and managing cost plans, valuations, and final accounts
Monitor and report on project performance and commercial risk
Support procurement and subcontract management
Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersWhat We're Looking For:
Experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a main contractor environment
Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts (essential)
Ability to manage multiple workstreams across maintenance and build projects
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Somebody who has experience working as a Project QS, or SQS previously
