The Company
We are currently partnering with a reputable and well-established main contractor known for delivering high-quality new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors.
While they are particularly strong in the industrial sector, their portfolio also includes significant work in commercial, education, healthcare, and energy.
With project values typically ranging from £1 million to £20 million, the company has built a reputation for reliability, technical capability, and strong client relationships.
They are now entering a phase of sustained growth, with a healthy pipeline of secured work and further opportunities on the horizon.
The Role
They are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a live project in Northwest London a 100,000ft²+ refurbishment of a 10+ unit industrial estate.
The ideal candidate will be a commercially solid, reliable, and experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong stakeholder and subcontractor management skills.
You’ll be the commercial lead on the project, reporting into a Commercial Director and supported by a wider team where needed.
Long-term, there’s scope to stay on and take ownership of future projects across North & West London or Hertfordshire.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Take full commercial responsibility for an industrial refurbishment project
* Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, variations, and final accounts
* Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and CVRs
* Support valuations and applications for payment
* Liaise with site teams, supply chain, and client representatives to ensure smooth delivery
* Identify risks and opportunities across project lifecycle
* Maintain strong cost control and maximise value recovery
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersBefore You Apply
